Before & After Bariatric Surgery

Sorry I have been away for so long, but that was only because I went through major back surgery May 31, 2013.  Now that I have recuperated some what I would like to share with you all a part of my life's story with the hopes that it can be inspirational to those that may feel it is to late to live their dreams.  Hope you all enjoy!

Most of my life I was obese & have been struggling with health issues due to being obese.  I almost did not make it alive to the emergency room with just 22% oxygen on May 9, 2008 which disabled me not to be able to work for the past five years.  I had high blood pressure, diabetic, OCPD, COPD, asthma, & lung disease called Bronchiectasis, and back problems which led me to a major back surgery just three weeks ago.  I went from weighing 307 pounds (size 30-32/4x) to 135 pounds in less than a year wearing a size small. During this time I attended the University of Phoenix and did my AA  in Healthcare Administration & now finishing my Bachelor in Human Services Management.  Today I feel wonderful about my accomplishments and proud I made it through all of this.  It was not easy, but with determination, friends & family support, prayer, God, and will power I have made it through it all!  I am 48 years old, therefore it is never to late to change your life!  Just believe in yourself and no matter how impossible a situation may look or seem; nothing is impossible if you are willing.
